The structure occupying the left-hand side of this image is a substantial, relatively recent, extension built to match the original structure in terms of both design and materials (with the exception of what appear to be UPVC windows). From this angle, the new addition dominates but compliments the original structure, which can be seen behind and to the right of the extension.
