Settle Carlisle Railway Conservation Area (SCRCA) 
Brief description:
Level Crossing (occ. abolished): Access ramp and fence on the western side
The railway is in a cutting at this point and there is no public access to the bridge or the cutting. This distant view was taken with a high-powered zoom lens from the road one long field away.
The original gate for the crossing has been converted into the horizontal section of fence that is visible on the skyline.
