Settle Carlisle Railway Conservation Area (SCRCA) The brickworks was demolished as soon as it became redundant, but today's observant visitor can still identify its site by the remains of the demolished chimneys (which now take the form of two grass-covered piles of rubble) and a nearby pile of discarded bricks ('wasters').

The brickworks site lies inside the boundary of the Settle Carlisle Railway Conservation Area and inside the boundary of the "Ribblehead railway construction camp and prehistoric field system" Scheduled Ancient Monument. The latter is covered by List Entry Number (LEN) 1015726.
